Start point: Little Eaton, village hall car park on Vicarage Lane. 10.00 am.

The walk wanders through Little Eaton village to observe the Clock House at the
terminus of the Little Eaton branch of the Derby canal. The walk then takes the
Little Eaton green way as far as Toad Lane before a short climb up to Moor Lane.
It continues to Brackely Gate before visiting Horsley Castle (Horeston Castle). No
entry fee required!!
Following this we would continue on to Day Park, Holbrook, Makeney, Peckwash
Mill, then Heron’s Wood before returning to the start.
