Following on the theme of the annual dinner the walk will be biased towards
socialising with a steady walk of just over six miles, culminating with making use
of the Old Dog pub in Thorpe. A circuitous walk will initially head north to then
swing east and pass through Tissington Village before skirting Wibben Hill, and
on through Lea Cottage and Woodeaves Farms. The latter section will see us pass
through Fenny Bentley and on to the car park
The 10-45am start will be from the car park about 100 metres from the pub.
Unfortunately like so many others these days it is pay & display, so car share if
you can. I have advised the Old Dog that we will arrive about mid afternoon.
Anyone wanting to go beyond having a drink should book a meal, giving their own
