Yes, there really is a walk on April Fools Day!
Meet at the car park by Weag’s Bridge (SK099542) at 10:15 for a 10:30 departure. The route takes us through Wetton, to Ecton Hill, passing by Warslow before heading first south and then east to Wetton Mill, where afternoon tea could be taken, before strolling down the Manifold Valley, enjoying the spring sunshine, back to Weag’s Bridge.
The distance is about 14 km with about 500 m of ascent. As we are in Staffordshire expect it to be muddy.
