After the abominable weather which graced my last two walks when I was heroically supported by Ruth (twice), Snod and Rachel, I have arranged for a more benign climate on this occasion.
We shall descend to Dovedale by a little used route and then climb the Staffordshire bank. A short scenic traverse will then be taken before squandering the height laboriously gained at Gypsy Bank. The return will be by Tissington Trail.

Please assemble at the lay by on A515 (Ashbourne to Buxton) opposite Alsop Moor Cottages (ref 156 563) at about 10.45 for an 11.00am start. Anyone wishing to travel with me ( dogs included) please ring.
