A walk that begins at Chatsworth House DE45 1PP. (NOT the garden centre) at 11 a.m. Whilst it is probably a well-known area this takes advantage of the FREE parking offered at this time of year and a different starting point. the plan is to go along the river to the garden centre, Calton houses, Calton pastures, alongside Manners Wood, past the fort to the road, downwards to Edensor and return. Approx 10km, 6 miles with 200m, 658ft of ascent. Packed lunch, drink etc.
A steady walk, good company, often sprinkled with some hilarity. Come and join us.
