I have booked The ULMC Hut ‘Fallcliffe Cottage’ between Grindleford and
Hathersage for Sat Dec 6th. The hut sleeps 16 and I have 10 people already
confirmed. Please let me know, preferably via the ‘Bullstones’ WhatsApp group, if
you too would like to join us. The format will be to meet in a pub ( hopefully The
Barrel Inn) on Friday evening for drinks and food, then walk for less than one
hour to a suitably wild bivvi spot. On Saturday we may walk 10-12 miles, but
shorter options are possible. I plan a take away curry to be delivered after some
refreshments at Fallcliffe.
On Sunday we can have a shorter walk back to Friday’s pub and our vehicles.
I do hope we manage to fill the hut for a great, challenging and above all sociable
weekend that maintains this excellent Oread tradition!
