There is a regular meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month Wirksworth Climbing Wall.

This is an unexpectedly good wall for a small town. Only opened in the last few years, the wall has 150 square metres of toprope/lead wall, and 100 square metres of bouldering. The wall is superbly made, and not as busy as many others.
